Delayed Start Survey
The Board of Education at DCES is considering allowing 1 or 2 hour delayed start of school due to inclement weather for safety reasons. This procedure could start as early as next year. On a 1 or 2 hour delay would still serve breakfast and run a morning routine and dismiss at the regular 3 o'clock time.
The board would like your input regarding this possibility. Please complete the survey to let the Board know your thoughts. The input you provide will be used to determine if we will plan to start allowing late starts to the school day. This topic will be discussed at the next school board meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 24.
