Homework Help / Tutoring & Lego Robotics
Dallas City Elementary is excited to provide an enhanced learning opportunity for students in grades 3rd through 8th!
If you would like your child to participate in this free program CLICK HERE for a link to an electronic sign-up form. Please sign up by Friday at 3 p.m. the week prior to attending the After School Program.
Who: DCE students in grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8
What: After School Program
3:30-4:30 Homework Help/Tutoring
4:30-5:30 Lego Robotics
When: Tuesday - 7th and 8th grade
Wednesday - 5th and 6th grade
Thursday - 3rd and 4th grade
Where: DCES
Cost: FREE
Expectations: Students must complete homework, read, or practice
skills the first hour to participate in Lego Robotics the
second hour.
Transportation: Busing provided to and from the after school program
at predetermined bus stops.
-Lomax stops include the park and post office.
-Dallas City stops include housing, the old Olson’s
tire shop, and the corner of 4th and Maple.
- Rio Vista and Leisureland will have one-stop each.
Parents transporting their own children must ensure students are picked up at or before 5:30. Students who are picked up after 5:30 will no longer be allowed to participate in the after school program.
