This is my 14th year of teaching at Dallas City Elementary School. I am currently teaching 4th grade, but have had the opportunity to teach at the 4-5 level and 6-8 level within the last 14 years. I live in LaHarpe, Il with my husband of 14 years and my 9 year old son Keagan, and our dog Maggie. I graduated from WIU with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in Reading. I continue to learn knew teaching techniques by going to several conferences throughout the year. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family while traveling, going to sporting events, Boy Scouts, and other community activities. As a family, we love to cheer on the Iowa Hawkeyes! Go Hawks! In my spare time, I love to garden, decorate, and read.
