Christmas Spirit at DC Elementary
We would like to help students get in the holiday spirit! December 11 through December 19, we are encouraging students and staff to wear clothing and accessories that fit a holiday theme for the day. Students that participate each day with the theme will receive 2 bulldog bucks. While we want students to get excited, we still have learning to do. Therefore, students that do not respect the accessories they wear, wear something inappropriate for school or distract themselves or others, will be asked to put accessories in their backpack or locker for the remainder of the day. Students may also lose the privilege altogether. Let’s have fun, be creative, show our holiday spirit and learn lots! Following are the daily themes.
December 11th – Holiday pajamas/slippers
December 12th-Ugly sweater
December 13th –Wrapping paper/bow
December 14th –Red and green
December 15th - Christmas headgear
December 18th - Glitter, bling, sparkle, shine
December 19th - Grinch
