Amanda Wiegers

Greetings!

I joined the faculty of Dallas City in the summer of 2008. I previously taught in Pike County, IL in the old West Pike School District where I taught grades K through 12.

Here at Dallas I am the district music teacher/director, speech coach, and drama director.

I graduated from Lewistown High School in 1998, Culver-Stockton College in 2002, and I am currently working on my Master of Music degree from Western Illinois University.

I am originally from Lewistown, IL but I now live in Carthage or to be exact Denver (yes there is a Denver, IL). I spend most of my free time on our family farm on the outside of Carthage riding my horse and woodworking. My family includes my dog, Quest; my cat, Starbuck; and my horse Bones.
